Voila!
It's lunchtime Sunday and here is the completed top. It measures around 66 x 80 inches (170 x 204 cm for us metric folk). Now I'll give it a rest for the afternoon while I do other stuff.

It's lovely, Shirley! I don't think there are many things that a quilter can do that is more loving than making a quilt for someone. I'm sure the recipients will be very excited to receive it.
What a lovely quilt, Shirley! The recipients will be thrilled to think that someone they don't know has gone to all that effort for them. It's a wonderful way to help them settle into their new life. Margaret in PN
You don't hang around do you?:¬} It's a super quilt and I'm sure the recipients will be thrilled not only with the gift itself but the colours too - they are so vibrant!
Wow that was quick! I've made one with the same number of squares in day but somehow it's so much more impressive when you scale it up. They're going to be delighted

Now that's a fast quilt! bright and uplifting for a cold day. Well done.
What a wonderful top! I've also been thinking about something Amish inspired using hand dyes, but haven't gotten around to it yet.
