Pictures of Autumn

A pretty pink salvia.....
...Helenium in flower. That fence behind is 2 metres (6 ft) high.
....Colchicum (Autumn crocus). today was cloudy so the flowers didn't open at all
.....and the firewood! There is 9 cubic metres here, enough to keep me plenty warm all winter.

And there IS creative content coming this space for more monoprints, more flour resist and some completed knitting.

All you have to do now Shirley is stack that wood---yuk.

Autumn and firewood seem to go hand-in-hand. With the latter we do get warm more than once as we shift it about! I ordered mine a few days ago, but will supplement it this year with driftwood.

Anyway enjoyed the photos Shirley, and am wondering what creative surprises are in store!

hope the firewood shifting goes well. We'll have to do a deal. You come help me with mine, I'll come help you!

Isn't it fascinating! Here you are stacking away your wood for winter, and here we are looking at the latest snow on blossoming almond trees, because we are heading into spring head over heels. This is what I absolutely love about the internet - being connected with the other side of the world.
Happy Easter!
