And....voila!

Here are the hanks all reskeined and looking pretty. These are for my own use in a garment, so have many of the colours in common.

Also pictured is a ball of the original yarn, which is dark cream with brown flecks.

It is very interesting how different the yarn looks in skeins and loose. I am very interested in seeing the yarn knit. Was dyeing the yarn very different than dyeing fabric?

They are very delicious yarns - makes me want to take up knitting again - or maybe just fondle them. Thanks for sharing

You are going to have me knitting again! Do you have some kind of winder or do you wind all that yarn by hand?

Dyeing wool is difefrent from dyeing fabric. And I wind all the skeins by hand!

HI Shirley

Good grief by hand- I must get out my knitting needles again as well- i used to be a mad keen knitter and crocheter making up things as I went along.

I love the colour sin your circle quilt as well- I bet that turns into a good class if you were thinking of doing it as a class!

I love the colors in the photo! I wish I could knit. I bargained with a friend recently that if she can make a knitter out of me I will machine quilt a top of hers on my longarm at no charge. I hope she takes me up on it!
