This is what I'm doing with this background I made recently. It's named after my friend Kathryn who has a secret hankering to have blue hair (she had blue bits in it when I first met her in 1999) but won't go the whole hog. So I came up with this wishful image who has one side grey andthe other side blue. I am not at all happy with how the applique sits on the background (before you all start mentioning that), but as I sew it, I'll do something to cover the little yellow piece on the left-hand side, and also where the orange overlaps the red and sticks out.

Actually, I rather like it as it is, Shirley. It's a nice piece, and it has a flow to it. What's to change?
The piece is spendid. It doesnt need changing. The color is perfect and te design is wonderful.

I love it very much the colors are great,but if it is not feeling good to you maybe you must make a little change let us no what it wil be.

And I have to mention, I really like that orange/red bit in the background...I like that the lines are a little different there. My two cents, FWIW.
