My children think I've become a hippy. My mother can't imagine why people would pay me to teach them to quilt and dye fabric. She thinks I like making bedspreads. I'm a dyer and fiber artist, living with 2 Manx cats and 2 Standard Poodles in an A-frame house with views of the Southern Alps (from my upstairs studio) in the South Island, New Zealand. Regrettably, I have a day job as well, but them's the breaks.

And here we've been having -40 and lower with wind chills. I don't know which is worse..at least in the cold you can stay inside and sew.
I was going to say 'rub it in, why don't you' - with the temperature here at the moment at -2.
But then I see that Joyce is -40 so maybe I shouldn't be complaining. *LOL*
May I trade a couple of days with you? I'm sick of winter here in Northern Illinois...
From 2 degrees to 34.5 in 3 days? Sheesh!
