Today is Random Acts Of Kindness day, so here's my RAOK. I am going to give the not-quite-finished hat in the photo to someone. That someone could be you! All you have to do is leave a comment asking to go into the draw. Then I'll pull a name out of the hat (maybe literally!) and the hat will be yours. No matter where you live in the world.
There are 75 people a day looking at this blog (not that you'd know it from the comments <>), so put your hat into the ring (lots of hat puns today) if you'd like it for yourself or for someone you know. The hat is made of 100% wool, hand dyed by moi. It will fit an average woman's head.
Now YOU go and do a RAOK!

Hi Shirley! I didn't know about RAOK day but now I do! I suppose that means I'll have to make a RAOK myself now! I have a small head but I'd love to be in your draw.
Sorry we've been neglecting you, will try harder to leave comments.
I don't wear hats but my DD does..
Though I don't expect you to send it overseas,
Sally
I am prepared to send it anywhere, Sally, most of my readers are overseas.
I really enjoyed the information on the little birds. They sure are pretty. Love birds. I would like to be in drawing. Thank you.
nice hat - i've got hats coming over|out my ears right now and we are into spring - so I'll aplaud your RAOC actions and wish whomever gets the hat well.
cheers - stells
Hello Shirley,
I would love to be put into the draw for the hat. On my recent trip home I saw the mohair and possum wool you have spoken of before, and really wanted to get some but somehow ran out of time to get back to the store. Will now have to con family members to send me some! Anyway love the colour of the wool you dyed and always love your blog.
Thanks
Pam
I'm all about the knitted hats! Please put my name in :-)
Autumn is arriving here...
I'd love to be in the draw too!
Regards.
well, since you asked....here I am. A comment in return for your nice comment, thanks. and Yes, must try harder and leave more comments. one in about a hundred visits really aint good enuff. Love the hat!
Hey, winter is fast approaching here and I could use a nice hat like that. Blogland is full of lurkers. I admit that I am often one myself. No time to comment on all I read.
Before I read your post today I already gave away one of my best wall quilts to someone who has admired it for years. He loved it and appreciated the gift. Maybe I am harmonically attuned to RAOK day? If I win this hat from you I will send you something back. I don't know what. Something.
Pet the dogs for me. So many people show their cats on their blogs but if I had a blog I'd be showing my dogs. Thanks for sharing with us all, even if we don't comment as much as we should.

Hi Shirley! I would love to go in the draw for this gorgeous hat. If I won, there would be no cost for postage:)
Hi Shirley, I'm one of those lurkers, and even though I'd love to win that beautiful blue hat, I'll wish everyone good luck. You know, I think that when we read blogs from the feeds, we don't always have time to post because we tend to collect more and more blogs to read.
You've inspired me to think what I might be able to offer as a RAOK on my blog.
