The Evil Twin has been on Amazon again....

These 2 exciting books arrived today but I haven't had a chance to look at them yet. I haven't done much with distorting fabric, though I can get quite carried away with my little heat tool.
I thought this one might solve my problem of never getting the second sock knitted........what do you think?

I don't knit, but have heard of people knitting both socks, or sleeves at the same time so they maintain the same tension throughout.

Good idea on the double sock knitting - I'll be interested to see if it works. I have second sock syndrome too!

What a great idea to knit the 2 socks at once, that certainly gets round the one sock syndrome.
I've got the other book and it's a great resource, but I have to admit I haven't gone down that road very much, I hoped it might inspire me to, but I'm still waiti.g LOL

I would never get the 1st one knitted! I never knit, though I like to crochet occaisionally.

Distorting sounds like fun!

Love the title of your lecture too! It's brings interesting images to mind!

I only knit two socks at a time. If there is a reason why I can't use circulars for a sock pattern (have to transfer stitches between needles frequently, for instance), I pick another pattern.

I don't have SSS for that reason.

The other book looks intriguing. I just saw a show on serger crochet and it has piqued my interest in playing with thread. Hmmm, is my evil twin calling?
