Rust dyeing
Using nails (above) and a tyre iron and bolts (below) with a few scattered nails. These are interesting pieces, that I think will look best made into small art works. The original fabrics are fat quarters (square quarter metre).

So cool. I've managed to resist the urge to dye so far but you're making it hard, very hard.
These are lovely samples of rust Shirley. It's something I keep meaning to try out but never get around to it.
