Dem bones, dem bones...
How many quilts or pieces of art have you seen featuring leg bones? Not many I bet. Well, it's a subject close to my heart, so here's one. The background is a piece of my "striped" fabric.
I am loving this piece, Shirley. Kat is right - it would make a great series. What fun! More, please.
BTW - it was 75 degrees here 2 days ago and this morning, I was out in my Birkenstocks and light shirt at the supermarket when it started to snow huge flakes...with thunder. Wish I'd had my camera then. Brrrrrr. But the sun is out now and it's mostly gone. Freaky. I love snow, too, but only when I don't have to go out in it. And if it could snow and be warm - that would be perfect!

I like the vertical lines of the fabric and the bones - this would make a great series.
Other than the skeletons on quilts, I've not seen any bones that I can recall, and definitely none that colourful.

Now I wonder just what inspired this piece. LOL very colorful.

Not sure if it's visible in the photo, but the little red bones (at an angle) are broken.......
Hey, this really is art borne of suffering!!!
Dem bones will make a great conservation quilt. I bet many will ask questions. Great idea. How is the ankle?
Oh, cool. Nothing broken, I see...
great idea with loads of potential. Jill Percy in sunny Southbridge
