Spring in the garden

I know that for many of my readers, it's turning colder and going into wintertime. Here we're revelling in spring, which is my favourite time of year. I love growing stuff, so really enjoy planting and then watching things flourish and flower.
So to brighten up your fall days, here's some mid-spring flowers. I'm not sure what the tree below is, but the leaves have only just emerged a week or so ago, and they are absolutely beautiful - fresh and lime green. This tree is in the front corner of my garden, beside the gate.

Thank you for the lovely spring photos. The clocks went back to GMT at the weekend here in the UK, always a slightly gloomy time for me but these cheered me up straight away.

Thank you for beautiful pics! Spring seems very far away right now for us Scandinavians.

What a lovely garden. We are heading into fall and winter here. The leaves are changing colors in the Desert SW. But soon will be gone. The flowers are gorgeous.

And in SW British Columbia the little golden leaves of the aspens are flying off the trees.
Your spring looks lovely. Late May or June is poppy and iris time for us.

I thought it looked like a hazel but don't know if you have them over there. Nice if it is, you'll have nuts!
