Red Carbon Footprint

I am not totally up with all this carbon footprint stuff...however, I DO know that mine will be red in future. Yes, I've traded in the wagon (which I grew quite fond of) for a VW Golf hatchback. And it comes with a silly number plate - though "EEK" would have been even more fun. Now that we have 3 letters on our number plates, these make actual words so the powers that be take out all the potentially rude ones. Pity. I consider "DCK" to be an unfortunate combination, so I'm glad I don't have that one.

Can't miss you in that! Very nice.

Watch that you don't cut your hand somehow on the lift up handle to open the hatchback....not quite sure how.... but I know 2 ladies who have done so.

I wonder if eredux, has any idea where New Zealand is?

i would love a registration like that, think of the potential... it is almost like a licence to be crazy... (like 007 is a licence to kill for james bond!!) eee could be your tyres screeching round a bend, or what nevous passengers say when you zip along like Michael Schumacher, or the sound of a Police Siren pulling you over.... rats, why did that one have to pop up and spoil the fun?

Back in 1979 our Golf Diesel had KFO for the plates - so when we didn't call it Rudolf, we would call it the Known Flying Object. It was a good solid car, a lot smaller than the present day ones.

And, back in them ancient times, if I pulled up at the diesel pump to fill the little beast up, some 'concerned and helpful' male would be guaranteed to toddle over and point out my 'mistake'.

We have gone back to a diesel, this time a Holden Astra, and this time round, no one turns a hair !!

Enjoy the Golf, good choice,
