Hi, just wanted to say how beautiful your country is. I have only seen it in pictures and in "The Lord of the Rings," but my God, what gorgeous landscape. I live in California in the central valley area, and it is the ugliest place to live. Flat, horrible heat in summer, fog and dreary gray skies in winter. Those are the only seasons we have, and we don't have sunsets. You are a very lucky woman!! : ))
Wonderful sunrise Shirley. I don't get a wonderful sunrise from my place, I have to wait for sunset, but there is nothing I enjoy more than getting up early and seeing a lovley sunrise, there is a special quality to it, a quietness that you don't get in the evenings.
What beautiful views you have, perched there on your end of the world. I love seeing them, & hearing about the opposite seasons.
In Anchorage, heavy rain & Lightning are rare occurences (although we did have a couple of lightning storms the last 2 summers). I think that our climate really is changing.

Absolutely breathtaking. Your jacket from an earlier post is very lovely. Looks soft and warm.
