If only I could get my fabric looking as good as the sunrise. Very smoky colours - a bit like the weather this morning. And of course cold to go with it. A good day to have the fire on and not venture far.
I was surprised that the colours came out so well - I usually find the pinks and reds of sunrises are nowhere near as good in photos. I love the smoky murky colours too.
It may be a portent of bad weather but it sure makes for a gorgeous photo!
What a great photo. It would be great to dye fabric those colors. Maybe use photo transfer paper and use as a quilt middle.
The colors are beautiful, looks a bit like your one piece of fabric.Did you really mean pity it doesn't snow there? If you really want a bit of snow, your welcome to come visit me. We woke up to a white world again this past Monday! Here I am wishing spring would finally come & stay.
Such incredible sky...I would love to see that in person!
wonderful sky but the wheater wil be bad i think
It's snowing here in Minnesota/Wisconsin. Lot's of complaints since it's the fishing opener and Mother's Day weekend. Overall, I'd pick that view over our weather any day.
Well, come on over! It's been snowing at our place in the UP of Michigan for the last 2 days!! The joys of spring in da Yoo P!!teri
fantastic colour! I found a blouse in the charity shop a couple of weeks ago that matches perfectly! (got it for the fabric - not to wear, lol)
Beautiful sunrise Shirley. What time did you have to get up to take that?
Because it's almost winter here now, this was taken just after 7.30am. The bad weather didn't last long, fortunately.
