Whites

As a dyer, I'm a colour person - I love colour. However, that doesn't mean that I can't appreciate white. Above are my white agapanthus - I also have the more usual "blue" ones.

The very annoying (but pretty) convolvulus, that goes crazy here in summer....
Japanese anemones ....
..tuberous begonias..
...I've totally forgotten what these big lilies are called...it'll come back to me. They have to grow in pots here. The flowers are a good 6" across.

And of course....white poodles. Here's Cressy enjoying the early morning sun. And in case you're wondering, I've never been tempted to colour the dogs. Poodles have to put up with a lot of stupid tinkering by people, so why insult them further? They're a wonderful breed of dog.

It's winter here in the US with another six to ten inches of snow predicted tonight and tomorrow so your flower photos were a wonderful mood lifter. It's good to know that somewhere the sun is shining and the flowers are blooming.

And I think your dog is lovely soaking up the sun. I think she might need a pair of sunglasses, though. She's squinting! LOL!

Cressy is such a poser!! I'm soooo glad that you don't get tempted to colour her - she's (shee or he?) beautiful.

I don't think I've ever seen an agapanthus here...they remind me of the Harry Potter books since Dumbledore mentions them.

I think the large Lily you couldn't identify is Amaryllis. We have a lot of white in our yard right now, but it's in the form of snow, not flowers or poodles! ☺
