It's only 11 days till the end of Term 3. Year 2 of the degree has been really busy and demanding, and while there are fewer classes next year, I have a Major Project which is done independently and which is the equivalent of 3 papers, so it won't be any easier.
I'm doing felting of various kinds in 2 projects at present - vessels in Professional Practice, and pods in Sculpture. Much of what we do is conceptual, critical reflective and so on, but we do have to produce actual finished work for Sculpture, so I've been concentrating on that.
My daughter Sophie wanted a felt hat for her birthday, and to ensure that I made a good job, I went to another of Bex Pilley's hat felting classes. Here's a few photos of what went on.

There does seem to be less blogging going on lately and I am just as much at fault as anyone. I do still read blogs, mostly through Google reader and I also read networked blogs through Facebook. How do I find the time! I suppose it's part of the cycle of things that blogs will be less in favour at times but I still like the insight they give and the inspiration. Great hats and the dogs look very happy.
Blogging takes time, either writing, doing photos or reading and commenting.I am trying to do my blog before 9 a.m. then be very strong and turn off the computer. Lovely hats and pods, and a busy time at the end of term.Cheers, Jean

Having to type in words and passqords gets a bit long when you look at a few at a time ( a few?????)took me a while to realise that photo number was to be included as well
