My beautiful daughter Roxy who died 26 years ago today.
Musings of a dyer and fiber artist from Lord of the Rings and Narnia country, the South Island of New Zealand. Also into knitting and felting with hand-painted wools.

My children think I've become a hippy. My mother can't imagine why people would pay me to teach them to quilt and dye fabric. She thinks I like making bedspreads. I'm a dyer and fiber artist, living with 2 Manx cats and 2 Standard Poodles in an A-frame house with views of the Southern Alps (from my upstairs studio) in the South Island, New Zealand. Regrettably, I have a day job as well, but them's the breaks.

Those we love are never forgotten

Yes, your daughter was beautiful, and still is in heaven! I had a grandson pass away 2 years ago at birth, and it was beyond sad, so I have a small amount of understanding of what you feel. We remember him with Jesus!.. God bless you and your family!
My, Roxie is quite the Angel. What a Blessing to have her in your life and sadness to lose the company of such a soul. May you always feel her loving presence with you.
